«Working to empower women and girls so they may walk in peace» Feminist Eclectic Martial Arts is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to the empowerment of women and girls through training in the martial arts.
We welcome everyone... Our programming has grown to include classes for men and women in Taiji and Iaido, in addition to our classes just for girls (FEMA Girls), teen girls (FLY - FEMALeadership Youth) and adult women (Wu Chien Pai). We are part of the community... Trained FEMA student-teachers have taught self-defense and empowerment courses in many arenas over the years. FEMA students participate in special martial arts demonstrations, tournaments, and fundraise to attend annual training camps. |

In all our programs we promote The Warrior's Code & The Six Principles: Love | A Warrior is skilled in body and kind in heart. Happiness | A Warrior respects herself or himself and all living things. Health | A Warrior believes that caring for herself or himself means caring for our world. Freedom | A Warrior takes the responsibility for her or his own actions, and makes a superior effort effort in every situation. Progress | A Warrior uses fighting skills honorably and only to protect self and loved ones. A Warrior never raises a fist in anger. Peace | A true Warrior lives by this code and firmly believes that the greatest warrior is the one who stands for peace. |
